Start work on christmas projects.

Hi guys,

So Halloween is almost here and I have been to my local hobby stores and saw something I want to practice on. I saw some ceramic items that I thought would be nice to start with. I found these gingerbread figures and I wanted to see how well I could paint them. I like how both of them came out. I didn't have a lot of colors but with what had I like my results. I didn't have black paint but did have black markers. I think I will get a few more of these and see what else I can make. Maybe add some glitter. Well this post is very short but I will be making more stuff and am ready to post my new projects of the items I created.

I am looking forward to maybe do something for fall and of course for Christmas. I haven't decided what to create besides cards. Gotta check out my hobby stores and look to see what inspires me to get me juices flowing.

Hi guys

I have been absent and sorry but have been very busy. Well I when I went to my latest craft class I really like what we created. Love how the curvy die from stampinup is so universal. I love what you can create from it. These are the projects we did on class and the one card for fall.

For the pink ribbon we used glitter paper and spritz and a word die. It was a joy die and cut out the y from the die to make the ribbon.

Before I went to class I wanted to create something for the group. And since I wouldn't see anyone till next month. I decided to make some simple Halloween cards. Like how each of them came out and just used some basic colors.

I did receive some happy mail from my cousin and in a following post I will show the stamps, but here is a card that i made with the stamps she sent me. The butterflies where from another stamp set I have but love how it comes together. I used ink, color pencils.

Well I finally got my paper pumpkin and I will say I'm not to kin on it. I really have seen what it is suppose to make and I am not really excited. I am going to see if I can come up with something different to make. But on a good note is I love the stamp set that came with it.

Well that is it for today till next time enjoy crafting.

Very late post and a loss

Hi guys

I have not blogged for the past almost two weeks because my grandmother passed away and I did not have the heart to post anything. But I have started to craft again and it has helped me. So I will be sharing what I have been creating. I bought some wood decorations and started to decorate them and I love the out come of what I finished.

I loved how each on came out and I practiced different techniques on each. All have glitter but some have watercolor, some have viva decor inka gold, and some have paint. But the result on each I love I am going to give one of these to my cousin and hope she likes it.

These cards are finally getting me out of Halloween and into fall and Christmas I just love how each one of them looks. I find it funny how you can learn a lot of techniques on the Internet and then it takes you a few months to try it out. Love the results can't wait to start making more cards.
Well sorry to cut this one short but going through my supplies and getting ready to make more cards.
Till next time.

Stamp Camp

Hi guy s

The moment I was waiting for has arrived. I attended my second year at stamp camp and this time instead of 13 projects we had a total of 16. All I can say is wow what great projects we did today. there was so much inspiration displayed today. I got to take pictures of cards that the demonstrators made. It was a Stampin Up event and I was excited to start on the projects but first a few pictures of the cards

I can't wait to be able to Case the cards I took pictures of.  I got inspired by all the cards I was able to take pictures up. The following pictures are the projects that we did start and I was able to finish only 10 out of the 16 projects. I was able to stamp and cut wood I need it to finish my last 6 projects.

I was so happy to have a friend join me this time and I was also able to see the person who originally invited me to this camp last year. Now with the project that I created I want to purchase the stamps and dies to also create my own projects. Well this is it for today. Till next time.

Picking up another stamp to use for halloween.

Hi guys

Well, today was a busy day as I went with a friend to a few craft stores where I live by. I did go the day before but didn't really look I was just browsing but didn't see anything. So today I went with a friend to a few more craft stores and I did find a few things that I wanted to get started with. At Joann's I found this little gem of a stamp.

There were a few others to select from but I like this one as it would go with the other halloween stamps I already own. I already have plans on how to use the poison vile. I might go back in two weeks to check if there are any new ones I might like.

At the next craft store I saw a lot of items I could use but just wanted to not spend too much. So I just picked two items and one of them was on clearance for about .30 cents what a great find. I like this wood ornament. I am now just wondering if I want to glitter the whole thing (hahaha) or use a combination of ink and glitter on it. I have started to glitter part of it because I wanted the letters to POP out. I know I want the ghost to also be glittered but first I have to let the letters dry and then I can go ahead and glitter the ghost up.

This was the item that I found on clearance and for a good price too I can't believe that I got this for only .30 cents. This was a great buy and I am looking forward to see what I will be creating with this.

Well, today I paid for my stamp camp and was told we would be making about 16 projects on that day. I am really excited to see all the great things that we will be creating on that day. I will be taking lots of pictures so I can be able to post what we will be creating.  Till next time laters.
